Saturday

Sooooo it's Saturday. And you have 7 hours until the poll ends. Twilight seems to be in the lead by one vote. VOTE VOTE VOTE PEOPLE!! Not like I have anything against Twilight....Tomorrow I'll post a new poll. And you should vote before the last day, ok?

I went shopping today. I bought a Linkin Park poster and a wall scroll of Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess cuz I'm a nerd like that.

I haven't seen Meg in like 2 weeks...thats like a lifetime for us "sisters". LOL.

I'm in a bad mood. My friend was absent completely last week and she "forgot" to tell me she was on vacation. Oh, and i had her card and b-day present with me because i missed her party, so the gift, a Rue 21 gift card, slipped out of my backpack sometime and I have no idea where it is. And my parents are making me mad, so nothing new there.

And I feel really tired, I keep getting chills, my throat hurts a little, my appetite isn't very big, and I keep sneezing. That's not a good thing when finals are less than a week away. Which reminds me, I should start to study...

Strep Throat and Mono

My school is like a war zone. You can't go ten minutes without hearing a cough, sneeze, or smell a cough drop. And turns out, I might have strep. But there is NO WAY I'm going to skip school now. We have finals next week and the week after that and I could use the history and French reviews! PLus, I'm lost in Earth Science. We get to use notes on the exam, but my notes are all messy and I forgot where I put half of them.

Not much is happening....My uncle's back. Uncle Bill. Remember him? Looking for a job and now he's living with us....he eats like crazy! He ate five pieces of pizza at dinner! And he snores. Even though he sleeps in the basement, it freaks the cat out when she's going in the litterbox down there.

Movies

I watched four movies on Friday. I watched a part of Walk the Line, part of Pirates of the Carribean 3, went to the theater with my friend for Mall Cop, and then came back from the theater and watched Goblet of Fire. I took my friend home at like 11:00.

Remember that accent thing I was gonna do? Well, I haven't done it since that post. So too bad. SO sad. But it's fun to shout "Bloody Hell!" at random in the hallways at school. :)

I watched part of the Oscars. Might I say, Miley Cyrus looked like an ugly, glittery, baby flower. Just thought I'd say that.

I had to come back to school today. So many people are sick - I hope I can get sick. I hate school. It's boring and this is the best part of my day - getting to go on the computer in science class. :)

Sweet And Sour

Sweet: No school until Monday, didn't have to get out of my pjs today, bought some songs on iTunes, my cat might actually be starting to like me in a non-chewtoy way.
Sour: My grandpa's dying.

My parents hardly tell me anything. I'm actually surprised they told me this. I guess when my dad took my grandpa to the doctor last thursday. When I went up north, I noticed my mom and my aunt whispering behind my back. Ever since we got back, my parents have been acting odd. Tuesday or sometime around then my dad called my mom. I only heard my mom's side of the story consisting of: "Do you want me to come and bandage him up? You need to take him to the hospital, even if he won't go. Call Linda and have her come down." And I found out a few minutes ago that he had a really bad fall. Most of his problem is that he refuses to eat. My grandma died a few years ago and my parents never told me until a few days before she passed. Ever since then, my grandpa was lonely. He lives in a senier citizen house and has the privilage to visit other people, but he doesn't. He won't eat anymore and its pretty much suicide. He's old - in his eighties - and I know that no one lives forever. But I saw a dying person last weekend and I don't know if I can handle all of this. I can't really write how I feel about this. I never got close to my grandpa, but he was a pillar in the family. I don't really get along with much of my family because they don't live nearby, and my grandpa is the only one who lives within twenty minutes. He's a big time smoker, he's smoked since he was ten. But he never got any lung dieseases. I don't know how he did it, but he was able to avoid the lung cancer my grandma died of. I hate visiting him because his apartment is really hot and we can't see clearly because of the smoke. He had to turn off his smoke detector. I don't really wanna go see him this weekend, but I think I owe him since I don't see him as often as I should. I'm not a person who can deal with sadness or serious moments, but I'm forced to with all of these old, dying people. He's the only grandparent I have left. My mom's side died when she was a teenager and she had to raise her three brothers. Whenever something bad is happening, I always take up something I haven't done in a while. For me, that's playing video games. I've been so immersed in Harry Potter and school that I haven't played the Wii or Gamecube or DS since my friend was over to play with. I've also been watching a lot of movies so I can escape my own life for a few hours. I'm really starting to turn to God and I just hope I can get through this and help my family.

No School Is Good School

I watched Prisoner of Azkaban again today and i kept replaying the part where Hermoine punches Malfoy. She doesn't even make contact. Sheesh!

Why do people think its odd that I think Tom Felton is hot? What's wrong with that, I ask you? Seriously, people have been giving me crap about it. Normally I don't give a you-know-what but it gets tiring after a while. I mean, is it that bad to like blondes? Geez people! Honestly, I've never had a boyfriend, admitted my crush, or anything of the sort. So, I have a right to talk about who I think is cute, okay? Lay off!

A Little Magic Never Hurt!

Magic. Is it the guy who fools your eyes or the thing that turns you into a frog? Both? If magic does exist in our little mortal world, would people put it on display? And, if magic is real, would people - or wizards/witches - go into hiding with it? Or make it a better world? These are the questions that haunt me.

I get the rest of the week off for winter break, and I am soooo happy!! And I'm going to a Christian Rock concert at my church. The guys are pro, they're called Nailpoint, but they're playing for FREE. NO tickets, nothing. Just merchandise to buy. Cool, huh?

Not much is going on...Shelby needs to give me a picture of something, so I have nothing else to say.

I Really Think I Need A Hug

Trip up north - muy mal. very bad. tres disastre. boring. end of line. Okay, so I enjoyed being with my aunt and uncle and all that, but, honestly, I really hated seeing a dying person I've never met before. Oh, and we were going through her photo albums, and I found this picture of a really hot guy named Gabriel. Turns out, me and his mom used to stick us together and play when we were little. But I can't remember him. He's the same age I am, and he's got a really baby-cute little brother. I really wish Mom kept those play dates going...

So, no internet up north. Not until I went to eat at McDonalds' for lunch and got some Wi-Fi on my laptop. But we weren't there long enough for me to post.

I didn't go to school yesterday because I was still up north, but I found out there was a mouse in my French class from all the leftover baugette crumbs from Friday. It ran across Mme. Sawyer's desk. I guess a girl who I won't name for her embarressment ran from the room, screaming. The teachers close by didn't appreciate that whatsoever...

My Draco craze is going down a bit. I think it's cuz I saw this kid at school that looks kinda like him. Same shade of hair, too. Sooo hot. Gabriel's hot, but he has braces. I used to. Not that I have anything against braces, i was just saying...it wasn't offensive. I'll just shut up now, okay?

Gosh Darn It!

So much for the creepy Friday the Thirteenth stuff...my computer's being a noob and won't load. It took - not lying - about ten minutes for my Blog to load. So bye!

I'm going up north tomorrow morning, and I might not have internet access until Tuesday or Monday. Yeah. Sorry. Bye.

Today was cool. We had a French Cultural Day in my French class. With food. Crepes are nasty, but the chocolate mousse is soooo gooood. There was good stuff (baugette!) that i couldn't remember the name and I can't spell. But it was cool. I have to go. Daddy wants the internet. Bye. That's the third time I've said that. This time I mean it: bye!

How Does They Did It?

Wow...that's pretty bad english. It makes my head hurt just reading it.

Anyhoo (thats a word now) it's Thursday. The 12th. Of February. Only 16 days left to vote on the tied-up poll. Only one day left until I get dragged up north. Only two hours until my French test. Only 30 minutes until my class of US History is over. Only one more day until the weekend. Only 160+ days until Half-Blood Prince is released. I'm looking forward to too much.

Tomorrow is Friday the Thirteenth and you can expect a very supersticious (I so spelled that wrong) blog post. With black cats, sidewalk cracks, and spilled salt with the number 13. Ooooh!!

My dad used to have a little bird named Tweety when he was little. It died a lot, but his parents would replace it before he saw. One day, he sat on the bird and it died. He was shocked and put the bird back into the cage to make it look like he did nothing. He came back the next day and the bird was alive. But it was a different one - it still freaked him out. Just a funny little story. I think the bird was a finch.

I'm going up north this weekend because some person my mom was really close to is dying. No idea who she is, and I'm not exactly looking forward to it. But I get to see my Aunt Linda, so I'm happy :)

Sometimes I Laugh at Nothing Whatsoever

I had a snowday today due to "icy secondary roads". The funny part - it's nearly sixty degrees outside. I laughed at that. I watched the fifth Harry Potter today - Order of the Phoenix - and I laughed at how Harry twitched in his dreams about Voldemort and the consistency of Ron using "Bloody Hell" not nearly as much as in the first movie. I also laughed at my cat when she ran into the glass door. I laughed at my odd-shaped cookies that turned out lumpy. I laughed at a gooey commercial for Valentine's Day stuff. I think I'm feeling funny today.

My laptop got taken away again. This time because I didn't feed the cat. PSSH! I was going to! Anyway, I'm mad.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!! I finished the seventh and final Harry Potter book about an hour ago. Sooooo many people died. Important people, too! I shouldn't give much away. But, now I have no idea what to read. Maybe I'll try Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling. Hermoine got it in the book, so why not read it, too? Hm. Maybe I will... TO BORDERS!!

So...yeah. I have to clean my room and the bathroom and get my homework done. Ugh. I'm just wasting time...

On Friday, my school had a pep rally. The theme was Hogwarts vs East High (HIgh School Musical) and, to my intense displeasure, East High won. I was really mad. But, during the pep rally, to show my support for the HArry Potter geeks, I spoke in nothing but a British accent. Including phrases like "bloody hell" and "git" which i learned from the HP books.

I Think I Need Therapy

I've had dreams about Snape for a week. I seriously think I should lay off the books and the Harry Potter Puppet Pals. BTW: if you see me in school, check your emails now, please. ANYWAY so, I told my dad about all these dreams and he said, "That's a bad sign" and left it at that. So, I'm getting a little worried. That's why I think I need therapy.

My cat is sleeping on my ankle. Did you know cats snore? Well, mine does. And I can't really move my ankle because she'd probably bite and scratch me. That's one thing I learned from getting a devil cat.

Soooo...what now? Not much happened today. Really. Hardly any homework besides this stupid History projects with pictures and dates and crap I don't know.
